We are looking for a full time Property Manager to join our busy team.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a full time Property Manager to join our busy team.

As a Property Manager you must be organised, have excellent customer service skills, and be prepared to deal with any eventuality. Above all, enthusiasm and a winning attitude are the most important qualities we are looking for in a new member of staff.

Working in a small business you will get exposure to all aspects of letting and elements of business management. These skills will prove invaluable in your future career.

What is the role?

The Property Manager will be responsible for their own property portfolio. The Property Manager will be the first point of contact for the tenants and landlords of those properties. Key tasks include:

  • Ensure all properties meet the Repairing Standard
  • Respond to tenant, landlord and contractor enquiries
  • Manage maintenance
  • Carry out inspections and follow up actions
  • Prepare properties for the start of tenancies. Check in tenants
  • Move out inspections and deposit returns
  • Undertake viewings
  • Tenancy administration

The role reports to a company director and is based in our Marchmont office.

Hours of work are 09.00-17.30 Monday-Friday.

Skills required

  • One year’s experience as a Property Manager (Preferably in Edinburgh)
  • Full driving licence
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Organisation skills
  • Level 6 Award in Residential Letting & Property Management – Scotland
  • Good knowledge of current letting industry and legislation
