The Role

As a Property Assistant, you will play a key role in the smooth running of day-to-day operations.  You will assist with property management tasks, ensuring that tenants and property owners receive the best possible service. This is a great opportunity to develop your career in property management in a friendly and supportive environment.

Role Responsibilities

  • Supporting two Property Managers with a variety of day-to-day administrative tasks
  • Answering telephone calls and responding to emails
  • Assisting customers and tradesmen that visit the office. Managing keys in and out
  • Entering and maintaining data in the in-house system
  • Scheduling viewings and inspections
  • Creating online property adverts, managing To-Let boards and window ads
  • Carrying out tenant referencing and preparing tenancy documentation
  • Dealing with questions and issues from landlords and tenants
  • Scheduling cleaning and maintenance
  • Diary management
  • Filing and archiving
  • Keeping tradesman insurance documentation up-to-date
  • Assisting the team with any further administrative support they require

Person Specification

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work well in a small team and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • A proactive, friendly, and professional attitude
  • Responsible and trustworthy
  • Willing to learn

Experience

Specific experience of the Property Management Industry isn’t required, but you will have exceptional customer service skills as well as a strong desire to learn.

Salary

Salary of £25000 – £28000 depending on experience

Hours of Work

Hours of work are 09.00-17.30 or 08:30-17:00 Monday-Friday
