The Role
As a Property Assistant, you will play a key role in the smooth running of day-to-day operations. You will assist with property management tasks, ensuring that tenants and property owners receive the best possible service. Role Responsibilities
- Supporting two Property Managers with a variety of day-to-day administrative tasks
- Answering telephone calls and responding to emails
- Assisting customers and tradesmen that visit the office. Managing keys in and out
- Entering and maintaining data in the in-house system
- Scheduling viewings and inspections
- Creating online property adverts, managing To-Let boards and window ads
- Carrying out tenant referencing and preparing tenancy documentation
- Dealing with questions and issues from landlords and tenants
- Scheduling cleaning and maintenance
- Diary management
- Filing and archiving
- Keeping tradesman insurance documentation up-to-date
- Assisting the team with any further administrative support they require
Person Specification
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a small team and manage multiple tasks effectively
- A proactive, friendly, and professional attitude
- Responsible and trustworthy
- Willing to learn
Experience
Specific experience of the Property Management Industry isn’t required, but you will have exceptional customer service skills as well as a strong desire to learn.
Salary
Salary of £25000 – £28000 depending on experience
Hours of Work
Hours of work are 09.00-17.30 or 08:30-17:00 Monday-Friday
